What happens in Slack

Outbound — /mydaddy 102 or a +E.164 number. Slack shows a Join card.
Inbound — JOIN NOW in that person’s Direct messages / Slackbot.
Voicemail — an mp3 in the same thread.
App Home — setup percent and the next command.

Add to Slack creates a Workplace (or revives the one already linked to that Slack team). No portal login is required for a new install.

Terms before you add the app

Installing Crossbar creates or revives a MyDaddy Workplace and records acceptance of our Terms and Privacy Policy. Zoho Billing starts 90 days after install unless you uninstall Crossbar from Slack. Uninstall cancels Billing; it does not delete the Workplace.

What happens in Google Chat

Outbound — /mydaddy 102 or a +E.164 number in a DM with Crossbar. Chat shows a Join card.
Inbound — JOIN NOW in a direct message with the Chat app.
Guests — consumer Gmail and Chat guests cannot place calls.

Installing Crossbar creates or revives a MyDaddy Workplace and records acceptance of our Terms and Privacy Policy. Zoho Billing starts 90 days after install unless you uninstall Crossbar from the Marketplace. Uninstall cancels Billing; it does not delete the Workplace. One leave from a Chat space is not uninstall.

Install Crossbar for Google Chat — until the Marketplace listing is live, Settings → Connect Google Chat binds a Workplace that already exists.

What happens in Microsoft Teams

Outbound — /mydaddy 102 or a +E.164 number in a 1:1 chat. A native Teams toast rings on desktop or web.
Inbound — the same toast. Audio is mixed on mydaddy.io (ACS PCM into sip-server).
Required — Teams Phone license per callee, ACS federation of the MyDaddy resource, desktop or web (not iOS/Android).
Guests — personal Microsoft accounts and Teams guests cannot place calls.

Installing Crossbar from the Teams Store creates a Workplace (or revives the one already linked to that Entra tenant). No portal login is required for a new install.

Installing Crossbar creates or revives a MyDaddy Workplace and records acceptance of our Terms and Privacy Policy. Zoho Billing starts 90 days after install unless you uninstall Crossbar from Teams. Uninstall cancels Billing; it does not delete the Workplace. Closing a 1:1 chat is not uninstall.

Install Crossbar for Microsoft Teams — until the Store listing is live, Settings → Connect Microsoft Teams binds a Workplace that already exists.

After install, a Teams admin must federate the MyDaddy ACS resource (Set-CsTeamsAcsFederationConfiguration) and each callee needs Teams Phone. Questions: support@mydaddy.io.

What happens in WhatsApp

Customer inbound — a WhatsApp user calls your Cloud API business number. Meta INVITEs mydaddy.io over SIP-TLS (G.711 + SDES). Your AI / IVR / roster answers as usual.
Agent inbound — a PSTN caller rings a roster person who is not on a desk phone. Their WhatsApp rings natively after call permission is recorded.
Agent outbound — DM the business number call +E.164 or an extension. WhatsApp toasts the agent and sip-server originates the dest from the workplace DID.
Required — a calling-enabled Cloud API number (not the WhatsApp Business app), about 2,000 unique messaging recipients per day to enable calling, and the user’s call permission for business-initiated rings. Some countries block business-initiated calls.

Embedded Signup creates a Workplace (or revives the one already linked to that WhatsApp Business Account). No portal login is required for a new install. Each Workplace brings its own WABA and number.

Connecting WhatsApp creates or revives a MyDaddy Workplace and records acceptance of our Terms and Privacy Policy. Zoho Billing starts 90 days after install unless you disconnect WhatsApp. Disconnect cancels Billing; it does not delete the Workplace. Losing one chat is not uninstall.

Install Crossbar for WhatsApp — until App Review is live, Settings → Connect WhatsApp binds a Workplace that already exists.
